Max Cruise: 375 kts

The Eclipse Jet can maintain a maximum cruise speed of 375 ktas (430 mph). The two P&WC 610F engines on the Eclipse Jet each produce 900 lbs of thrust (1,800 lbs total) on a jet whose maximum takeoff weight is 6,000 lbs. This incredible power coupled with the lightweight airframe of the Eclipse Jet produces this exceptional capacity for speed.

Range: 1,125 nm

70% of all GA flights are fewer than 750 nm and carry three or fewer passengers (according to the NBAA and GAMA), a mission profile that suits the Eclipse Jet perfectly. Rather than wasting money flying empty seats from one meeting to the next, the Eclipse Jet maximizes dollars spent on corporate travel.

Max Altitude: 41,000 ft

Flying your jet at 41,000 ft keeps you above the weather: above clouds, rain, icing and other detriments to safety and efficiency while flying. Increased altitude will increase the range of the aircraft. Increased range is not just a minor advantage: the fuel efficiency at 41,000 ft is almost 10 gal/hr better than at 37,000ft!

Fuel Burn: 48-59 gal/hr

The Eclipse Jet is the most fuel-efficient twin-engine jet on the planet, consuming a mere 48-59 gallons of fuel per hour in flight while at cruise. This amazing performance indicator means that you can fly 430 mph at only twice the fuel burn as a large SUV traveling on the interstate . The next lowest competing jet's fuel burn is 75-91 gallons per hour.

Economics: $2.25 MM

Acquisition: Total Eclipse aircraft delivery dates will begin in 2013 for a base price of $2,250,000.

Operations: Because the Eclipse Jet is the most fuel-efficient twin-engine jet on the planet and our manufacturing methods produce the lightest twin-engine jet on the market today, the operating costs of the Eclipse Jet are the lowest of any twin-engine jet in existence today. Eclipse Jet Operating Costs: $1.76 /nm on a 1,000 nm mission.

Specific components will include flight to 41,000 feet, 20,000 cycle airframe life, Flight Into Known Icing capabilities, an on-board color radar, electronic moving maps, and eCharts (Jeppesen), all presented directly on the Total Eclipse multifunction display through the fully integrated Avio IFMS.

With the Total Eclipse Jet, you will fly safely above the weather at altitudes of 41,000 feet while maintaining a speed of up to 425 mph. You will be in a jet equipped for Flight Into Known Icing (FIKI) and with a new, fully integrated avionics system, Avio IFMS, that acts as a virtual copilot, lessening pilot workload.

We built the Eclipse Twin-Engine Jet with an eye to the environment. It’s extremely quiet: a full 40 dB quieter than the world’s most stringent Stage 4 noise requirements. Smoke is released at a rate 50 times lower than regulatory limits. The plane is assembled using friction stir-welding, a green manufacturing process that produces no fumes. It’s engine fire suppression system, PhostrEx is the first Halon alternative agent to be approved by the EPA and FAA in more than 50 years, and conforms to international treaties protecting the earth’s atmosphere.

The Total Eclipse Jet comes standard with a brand-new, all leather interior, crafted to be invitingly cozy. With reclining seats, stowable tray tables, and electric outlets to ensure that you can rest or work in quiet comfort, the Total Eclipse is perfectly suited for your journey, wherever it may take you.

Total Eclipse Warranty

Eclipse Aerospace offers a one-year, tip-to-tail factory warranty for all Total Eclipse factory refurbished aircraft. For the first 12 months or 300 flight hours from factory delivery (whichever occurs first), the factory warranty covers the aircraft from tip-to-tail for workmanship, parts and labor. Each Total Eclipse Jet airframe is warrantied by the factory for 10 years or 5,000 flight hours, whichever comes first. All other aircraft components (excluding consumables) are warrantied for 24 months from date of delivery or 1,000 flight hours.

In addition, Total Eclipse aircraft are sold with a fully paid up and transferable engine maintenance program administered through Pratt & Whitney Canada. P&WC warranties the engines for 3 years or 1,000 flight hours.

All Eclipse mandatory Service Bulletins and ADs complete as of date of delivery. Buying on the secondary market means being at risk of exposure to costly repairs required by the FAA. Each Total Eclipse Jet is guaranteed by the manufacturer to have all mandatory SBs and ADs completed by delivery.
